A Diploma That
Builds Real Skills
VEGA Academy delivers the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) through a quarterly model designed around student needs and university preparation. Two courses per quarter, four quarters per year — students move through the curriculum with depth and focus, building the skills universities actually expect
Learning Through Inquiry
Courses are built around sustained inquiry — complex problems, evidence-based positions, structured debate, and iterative writing. Every assessment mirrors what students will face in their first year of university.
AI as a Learning Partner
AI is woven ethically and responsibly into a rigorous learning experience. Students first learn to formulate their own positions, then use AI tools to test, refine, and challenge their thinking.
GRADUATE OUTCOMES
Built for University Success
VEGA Academy students graduate prepared to tackle real-world problems. The OSSD program builds university-ready skills, global pathways, and a strong connection to IBU.
