A Safe Place To Learn and Grow

Student wellbeing and safety are central to the VEGA Academy experience. Toronto is known as one of the world’s safest major cities, with welcoming neighbourhoods and strong community infrastructure.

A Truly Global Community

Toronto’s rich cultural diversity creates an inclusive environment where students from around the world feel welcomed and understood.

Easy Access In The City

Toronto’s public transportation system makes it easy for students to travel safely and conveniently throughout the city.

The VEGA Academy Experience

Toronto as Classroom

Toronto becomes an extension of the learning experience at VEGA Academy. Through excursions, community projects, guest speakers, and industry visits, students see how classroom learning connects to the wider world.

Homestay Program

Homestay offers students a supportive, family-based living experience as an alternative to more independent student accommodation options.

Homestay provides students with a home away from home with a local family, giving them direct exposure to local culture and daily life in the city.

Benefits for international students:

  • A stable home environment during studies in Canada
  • A supportive household and consistent family contact
  • A practical introduction to Canadian culture outside the classroom

Residence Program

Residence options are also available for students who are 16+ years of age and seeking a more independent living experience. Student residences may be a suitable choice for those who prefer to live alongside their peers while still having access to a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

Residence accommodations can help students build independence, develop daily life skills, and take part in a shared student community. Availability, services, meal options, supervision, and age requirements may vary by residence provider.

For additional information, students and families are encouraged to review our approved homestay and residence partners’ websites and choose the accommodation option that best fits their needs, preferences, and level of independence.
