Why the Future Founder Summer Program
The Future Founder program is Future Builder’s older sibling; the same hands-on entrepreneurship and leadership foundation, with an added Capstone Week for students ready to go further.
Learn Like a Founder
Students spend the first two weeks building the same entrepreneurship, leadership, and career-readiness skills as the Future Builder program.
A Capstone Built With IBU
In the program’s final week, students work with guest faculty from International Business University (IBU) to complete an individual capstone project; plus an IBU university campus visit and a full day at the Niagara Parks Power Station.

Classes in the morning. The city in the afternoon.
Weeks 1 and 2 mirror the Future Builder curriculum, including the virtual “VEGA Academy Ready” pre-arrival session and choice of one of the free Toronto Zoo, AGO, or City Cruise passes between weeks.
Week 3 is the Future Founder program’s exclusive Capstone Week.
What You Will Learn
The program builds on the same four themes as Future Builder, entrepreneurship, leadership, career readiness, and the future of work, with an added Capstone Week led by IBU guest faculty.
Entrepreneurship & Leadership
THEME 02
Career Readiness
Students strengthen the practical skills; communication, professionalism, and problem-solving that carry into university applications, internships, and future jobs.
THEME 03
Capstone Week with IBU
Facilitated by IBU guest faculty, students spend the final week completing and presenting their capstone project, the culmination of everything built in Weeks 1 and 2.
Toronto as a Living Classroom
For Future Founder students, Toronto, and beyond, becomes a living case study in entrepreneurship. Excursions connect classroom learning to real institutions, real businesses, and, during Capstone Week, IBU’s own campus.
