How to Pay:
All the tuition and fees must be paid through your Canadian bank or credit union. To pay your fees through online or telephone banking, or in person at your bank, add VEGA Academy to your bank account as a payee, enter your VEGA Academy student number as your account number and submit the amount due.
Payments will take from 2 to 5 business days to transfer to your VEGA Academy fees account, so it is best to make your payment a week before the deadline. Payments received after the deadline are subject to late fees.
Students who do not hold an account with a Canadian financial institution may pay their tuition and ancillary fees as well as the confirmation of admission fee through Western Union GlobalPay
Payment Deadlines:
2021 fall semester: Tuesday August 31, 2021
2022 winter semester: Friday December 17, 2021
Late Payment Fees:
After the payment deadline, any outstanding balance on your account will be subject to 1.25% monthly late payment interest charges (16.08% effective annual rate). You will not be permitted to take further courses until your outstanding balance has been paid.
Scholarship
VEGA ACADEMY SCHOLARSHIP FOR DOMESTIC and INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Scholarships are granted to new students with an academic average that is 80% or better in their current high school courses. The awards committee will make their decision based on the information that the student submits at the time of application. This will include transcripts and letters of recommendation. All scholarships are paid out throughout the school year on a semester by semester basis contingent on continued study at VEGA Academy, academic performance and recommendation of VEGA Academy staff.
Scholarship Application Process
In order to be eligible for a scholarship, students must complete the Scholarship Application and submit it to [email protected] within one week of submitting their academic application. Scholarships are limited and competitive; therefore, students are encouraged to apply early.
We collate scholarship applications around two deadlines each year, and priority will be given to students who apply before the deadline. All scholarship decisions will be communicated within two weeks of the deadlines.
Submit a completed academic application to VEGA Academy for full-year studies and be deemed a good fit by the Principal of the campus you are applying to.
1. Submit a completed Scholarship Application and return it to [email protected] within one week of submitting your academic application.
2. Scholarship decisions will be communicated via email within two weeks of the scholarship application deadline.
3. If a scholarship is granted, the award must be accepted in writing by a parent/guardian by the deadline provided.
4. The scholarship amount will reduce the total tuition amount owing.
Important Notes:
- Scholarships will be awarded until all funds are allocated or the deadline passes, whichever comes last
- Scholarships cannot be awarded in cash
- Scholarships are non-transferrable to another student
- Scholarships cannot be deferred
